For all the people who love taking shots of street life, these shops might just be the way to capture the life of the city. Klek shops are basically run out of the basement and they weren’t always here. The reason behind these weirdly placed shops was the fall of communism where people were mostly compelled to rent the basements instead of a full storefront which was way more expensive. Unfortunately, these shops are slowly dying out.

Vintage Trams

Getting a picture in front of adorable vintage trams is one of the must things to do in the city. Vitosha Mountain

Vitosha Mountain is not exactly in the city but it surrounds the area and could be seen from everywhere in Sofia. It doesn’t take a lot of trouble to reach the mountain; you can easily hop on to a bus that will straight away take you to Sofia’s Vitosha Mountain.
